    Read the Printed Word!

happy saturday!

My poor Keith is so sick, and he came here for my Mom’s amazing chicken soup (which is actually my Nonni’s recipe), and then went home. He has a rotten cold, and I don’t want him running himself down, especially with New Year’s coming up. Our vacation to Sturbridge was fun, although we didn’t take many photos. The few we did take I’ll post on flickr at some point.

I have a question for all of you right now. Does anyone want to be my penpal? I’ve been writing to Lulu since 2001, when she hosted me, and we’ve become such close friends and met in the summer. It was so much fun!

I really love writing letters, and although they may sound dorky, I think it would be fun to have another pen pal. I even send Christmas presents, haha. So if one of you guys wants to be my pen pal let me know!

To answer your questions,  “The Golden Compass” was phenomenal. My Dad and I have such a great time. And tomorrow I’m going shopping at the mall and out to lunch with my Mom. I’m so excited, and will probably end up buying more books although I buy too many as it is. Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend!

    Aww, poor Keith. I’m glad the movie was good! I’ve heard mixed things about it, but I decided to try and read the book (or get the audio book) before seeing the movie. Hopefully you will find some good books at the mall :) I would definitely offer to be your penpal, but I don’t know what I might write in letters besides what I might update about online or comment to you about here. But, I could end up with millions of things to say, so I don’t know. But it sounds fun :)

    You have really inspired me. I’ve looked over your fitness pages before, but after seeing your weekly updated progress, it seems like more of a real possibility. I’m trying to prepare for Tuesday.. I want to go tomorrow and try to buy some weights. And I’m going to TRY to do 365 Days (or 366 because it’s a leap year?), so I will definitely update about it often. Just wanted to let you know! :)

    Aw, hope Keith gets better soon. I’m glad I’m almost 100% better. Kaylie is still sick though. ;____;

    Ya, there are Sanrio stores at all the malls here. I try to stay away though.. so tempting, haha~

    Poor Keith! That is terrible. I hate when my pookie is sick :/ I usually take care of him (which I actually love doing), but I still hate to see him sick. Man, just reading about your momma’s chicken soup has my mouth watering. I’m not sure what I’ve been craving for, but after reading this, I realized what it is! Damn you Italians/Greeks! Always have such amazing food. Anyway, much love to Keith! I hope he gets well soon! Tell him to rest it up!

    I love writing letters! Maybe we should be penpals?! I would really enjoy that :) You could read my little pink stationary cards with a hint of strawberry perfume he he :) But really, e-mail me if you’re interested.

    I’ve been curious to see “The Golden Compass”, but I hadn’t heard anything about it, until now. I’m glad you said it was good, because now I have an excuse to see it ;) Even your dad liked it? It must be good :)

    Have fun with your mom – shopping and lunch! It makes me miss mine!

    Poor Keith ): I’m sorry he has a cold, although I suppose your mother’s chicken soup must be awesome!

    Haha, I don’t really trust online people with my address (no offence taken I hope). It’s just something I’ve grown up with…

    I watched Golden Compass too :) Was an awesome movie, but POTC was still a lot better x)
