September 2019 Cruelty Free Favorites

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love my cruelty free cosmetics. I’ve always been kind of obsessed with skincare, whether it’s making my own concoctions or following some of my favorite beauty bloggers from back in the day, like Tashina, who inspired me to lead a cleaner life. This month I’ve been loving trying some new cosmetics and working with some of my old standards as well.

Let’s start off with Pacifica Beauty’s Coconut Milk Cleanser which is only $10 at Target. I really like having a foaming cleanser and cream cleansers work really well with my temperamental combo skin. I love how it smells like a sea of vanilla ice cream! The coconut milk base is soothing and cleanses without drying my skin out.

Next up? Follain Exclusives – Ursa Major Golden Hour Recover Cream ($48) and Indie Lee CoQ10 Toner ($33) Both of these items are more of the “luxe” persuasion. But–I’m a big fan of investing in my health and skincare especially during the winter months when all of our faces need a little more love. The recovery cream is light, herbaceous, and feels amazing on my skin. I love using this right after a mask or detox. Meanwhile the Toner is gentle and functions well as a face refresher. I also loved using the toner over my makeup as a setting spray. You can use my code: ref15_dq3qm5 for 15% off your order!

Confession–I ain’t got no brows. I tweezed and have tiny little pencil thin lines and I hate it. My lack of brows are probably one of the things I’m most self-conscious about. Enter Anastasia Beverly Hills and their amazing Brow Powder ($23) and DipBrow Pomade ($21). I use both of these products DAILY so I can fool everyone around me into thinking I have real brows. Each product lasts almost a year for me (and I have a lot of filling in to do every day). I love how the products make your face look soft and natural!

Finally, my purefume of choice from doTERRA is currently Jasmine!! I love my oils and use them regularly in the home, but recently eliminated fragrances from my life. It was hard at first…I loved all of my sprays, but so many have harsh chemicals and are no longer cruelty free. Plants to the rescue. I use my Jasmine roller every morning for that femme magic. 🙂

Tell me what you’re using! I’m nosy af and love hearing more about your fave products and empties!
