So, here we are in the beginning of September. I’m 30 pounds down and my vibe is sky high. Most days. There are other times where I can’t get out of my own way, yell at everyone in my house, and then want to know where we’re going for dinner. So, I’m not trying to say that everything’s perfect. But, I’ve been trying to take some time for myself to give back some love to my body and mind. Enter Adriene who is my new favorite person on the Internet (even though she probably has no clue who I am, haha!) I needed something different from my Yoga practice and really needed to get my body mind balance back on track. I was a big fan of fitness SHOULD make me hurt and feel like shit after. NOT THE CASE. I think we tend to really be hard on ourselves after a big life change (babies, marriage, new job) and this practice taught me to be gentle with it all and take it as it comes.
My biggest challenge is going with the flow when things get crazy. I’m sure I’m not alone in this, so I gathered a couple of my favorite Yoga with Adriene videos so you can check them out.
